Work Experience
2019-2020
Freelance Marketing Consultant
As a digital and social channel specialist, I am responsible for creating impactful brand messages, growing engaged audiences and converting them into profitable customers. This has become a successful revenue stream due to my acquisition strategy: referrals. Love Raw, Mister Freed, Hello Pure and Booch & Brew are all referral clients that rely on me to accelerate their digital agendas. My key skills include influencer management, content creation, brand partnerships and paid promotions. I generated a combined reach of 11.5 million for Love Raw's new product launch, while Mister Freed benefitted from a follower growth that had doubled in three months.
2019-2020
Marketing Executive, Juice
As their first investment to marketing, I improved juice's digital IQ and online identity. By targeting millennials, tapping into cultural trends, and redefining the brands tone of voice, I built an attractive audience to market to and quickly became sales-minded, pitching this commercial opportunity to retailers at tender pitches. Through influencers, IGC, a network of photographers and strategic campaigns, I grew Instagram from 1.3k to 20k in eight months for free/earned media. I independently created a disruptive marketing plan with a budget of £30,000, wrote an award that won the Best Mobile Accessory Manufacturer at the Mobile News Awards, and hit record sales on the website by executing a Love Island campaign on email and social that leveraged our following's interests. I nurtured other skills including CMS when managing the website, creative with viral video content, and email marketing.
2018-2019
eCommerce and Digital Manager, Fiddes Payne
At Fiddes Payne, I was the digital go-to for the company brands Full of Goodness and Cake Angels, as well as the marketer for partnerships held with Disney and Jamie Oliver licenses. Working directly with the CEO, my goal was to transform our digital touch-points into profitable revenue streams. From a branding and customer-journey perspective, I upgraded our social content with a new creative guideline, and redesigned the website for better UX on the CMS. Creating and reviewing the P&L also revealed how we needed to optimise our paid promotions on Amazon and eBay, and invest more into our website using Google ads and better SEO. I improved our offering on Amazon by implementing Seller Fulfilled Prime and reduced outsourcing costs by 1.6k a month by attending Amazon training. I pitched and took new products to market with Disney while creating go to market plans for Jamie Oliver, understanding the importance of partnership marketing.

2017-2018
Editor and Blogger Manager, Bournemouth University
My first team management role was as Editor and Blogger Manager, where I lead a team of 20 student bloggers and content creators which Bournemouth University approached me with. I was responsible for all the articles and blogs published on the website so I arranged brainstorms with the team to ensure our content calendar was full, taught SEO and CRM (Wordpress) workshops, and edited our teams' work. I did this full-time along side my studies and received the BU Bloggers and Bloggers of the Year Award for the team's achievement in hitting the most views on the website
2016-2017
PR and Marketing Executive, TLC Marketing
I put the fundamentals of marketing into practice at TLC Marketing, during my industrial placement year. I developed key skills in email marketing, social media planning and analysis, lead generation, PR outreach, content marketing, award writing and direct mail within the B2B market. I worked closely with Creative on disruptive comms such as the Chip Fork DM (copywriting, brand hit-list, social support and email follow up) which won an IPM award for execution. I was responsible for building the reputation of the agency and generating leads for the Business Development team, so quickly became interested in marketing revenue. After writing eBooks, setting up successful automated email campaigns, and being published in The Drum, our small team of two generated £43,000 in marketing revenue. Bournemouth University named me Placement Student of the Year for my contribution to business.

Interests

I enjoy being creative, whether that's writing my thoughts on modern events or collecting interior style inspiration for my house, on Pinterest. I spend my spare time brushing up on my editing and basic graphic design skills while creating content for both my interior and dog blogs.

I'm at my happiest when running with my floppy-eared, boxer dog or reuniting with my friends from University. My favourite countdowns are usually for departure day, heading to a sunny destination and taking in the culture. I'm also an extremely strategic Monopoly player.
